Jerjer Gibson trains with former club Harrisburg Heat amid reports he is close to rejoining

Liberian Major Indoor Soccer League soccer star, Jerjer Gibson has been spotted training with former club Harrisburg Heat at their training base as the unattached superstar hope of joining the team as a free agent, according to reports.

The 32-year-old first joined the club in 2019 season where he made a total appearance of 18 and scored 9 goals.

It was an emotional moment for Gibson to return to the club's training ground after what has been a tumultuous period for the Liberian born forward since he swapped Harrisburg Heat for St. Louis Ambush in 2021.

The club are thought to be exploring the possibility of an initial six-month deal for Gibson as they seek extra reinforcements in their Indoor league adventure.

" I will love to see Gibson back at this club, he was very instrumental in his stint with us in 2019, I would love to see him wear our jersey again," a Harrisburg Heat fan said.

Before playing professionally, Gibson previously played for Junior Pro Rollers, Lanco United, El Camino Colts, McCaskey Red Tornado and played college football at Wilmington Wildcats.

He signed his first professional contract with Major Indoor Soccer League side Pennsylvania Roar in 2013.
